We all have stories, some of us dwell on it, while others are busy adapting, changing and learning from the past to build new opportunities that can make a difference in the world with which we live. This is Dr. Amichai Dovid Graber, one who had all the cards stacked against him, and never fell victim to the circumstance(s), rather used them as a tool to fulfill a childhood dream that continues to grow and is still being chased today. As he notes, it was a dream that saved my life, it was what gave me the fighting spirit, inspiration and opportunistic outlook in life to use each moment to capture the future.
Dr. Graber’s story is one of defiance against all odds and a hunger to seek growth, truth and a meaning to the everyday realities we face. Without a dream, breaking barriers and problem solving become impossible, as it’s a rarity to find someone who can comprehend why or how someone could choose to go down such extreme paths. For Dr. Graber it was natural, it was following a dream and the truth that inspired him to not let anything or anyone get in the way, while at the same time remaining focused on understanding the meaning in which all things are related and interconnected.
Dr. Graber’s pursuit of his dreams is what led him to launch the Dream Fund, a 501(3)c focused on helping others to fulfill their dreams and creating a global ripple effect of optimism and opportunities. Many dream, but very few are willing to risk it all. We believe, the risk is greater if not risked, and that is the burden the Dream Fund helps to purge. We advocate for and support dreamers who desire and aspire to make a positive social impact that can be measured and tested through transformative projects.
Dr. Graber, a dreamer, husband, father of seven, a fearless negotiator and sensible leader, entrepreneur, writer and community advocate. His passion is on advocacy for and leadership development of human capital that consists of the knowledge, skills and health that people invest in and accumulate throughout their lives, enabling them to realize their potential as a productive and valued member of society.
Tired of watching the world fall apart, while leaders provide a myopic validation to justify a broken system and ignorantly speaking lies to solidify their existence while everyone else gets left behind?
